1. Pick-up & Departure (Morning)
Your adventure begins with a convenient hotel pick-up in Hurghada. After a comfortable transfer, you will arrive at the marina. There, you will board a spacious and modern two-story boat. As you set sail, enjoy the scenic 40-minute cruise. Meanwhile, take in the mesmerizing Red Sea views while relaxing on deck.
2. First Snorkeling Stop – Explore Coral Reefs
Before reaching the island, we will stop at a prime snorkeling location. Here, you can dive into the warm waters and explore the underwater world. Tour Location
Hurghada is a beach resort town stretching some 40km along Egypt’s Red Sea coast. It’s renowned for scuba diving, and has numerous dive shops and schools in its modern Sekalla district. There are many restaurants, bars and nightclubs, while the old town, El Dahar, is home to traditional Egyptian coffee shops and souks. Hurghada’s long stretch of sandy beach is lined with resort hotels.
History of the City
Hurghada first emerged as a settlement of significance in 1909, when British geologists discovered oil reserves nearby. For decades oil—as well as fishing—drove the small Egyptian town’s economy. Today, it is a major resort city, part of a transformation along the Red Sea coast.As recently as the 1980s, only 12,000 people lived in Hurghada. It was around that time that hotels started to spring up, as the region’s spectacular coastal views, perpetually sunny skies, mild winters, and extensive network of coral reefs proved an appealing combination for developers. By 2014, Hurghada’s population had swollen to more than 250,000 people, and the city had become a haven for tourists—fueled by some of the best diving and snorkeling opportunities in the world.
