Sinai, The Gulfs of Aqaba and Suez both border the Sinai Peninsula. The Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea both have coastlines that touch it. Israel’s border is to the east.

How to get to Sinai from Cairo?
Every bus from Cairo to Sinai stops at Suez first. They travel 20 kilometres north of that city through the Ahmad Hamdi tunnel to cross the canal underwater.
The road is 10.4 metres wide and well-lit, and the depth relative to the channel level is 37 metres. 4,500 metres total, 1,600 of which are subterranean.
Even though when spoken this way it seems like a steep tunnel, its unevenness has been carefully planned, and its drop is hardly noticed.
Senior Officer Ahmad Hamdi, who perished in the conflict of 1973, gave it its name. The project started in 1975 and finished in 1980.

What to see in The North?
The Sinai Peninsula is currently split into three sections. El Arish and Valle del Norte are other names for the northern region. It stretches the whole length of the Mediterranean coast from east of Ismaeliya to Rafah.
The bulk of people in this area are from Bedouin tribes.
The province’s capital, El Arish, which is divided from Israel by the so-called Taba line, stands out.

It also goes by the name Central Plateau. According to the Bible, the children of Israel marched through this area for 40 years. The area is separated into two administrative zones: Nakhl and Hassana; it has fewer fountains and springs than the northern zone.
The Al Te Yaha, Al Hayawat, Tarabine, Nabkhalo, and several Howaytat tribes are among the Bedouin tribes who call this region home.
Three of the most well-known mountains stand out:
- Al Raha, overlooking the Gulf of Suez
- Kaeskue Al Taraf, with a good view of the Gulf of Aqaba
- Al Agnio, with large mountains in the center of the El Tih plateau
What to see in South Sinai?
The most significant portion, and the one that gathers the most historical and natural recollections is this final section. Their territory is located between the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba. It is the area with the fewest residents.
